Miraculous Ladybug Season 1 Episode 22 Princess Fragrance
The day does not start too well for Marinette: not only is Tikki very sick but, by constantly putting off the moment to take her to the doctor, our heroine ends up losing her kwami out of negligence! Meanwhile, Rose – a fellow student with a very romantic nature – gets akumatized by Hawk Moth. Now Princess Fragrance and armed with her bottle of perfume, she causes a fragrant mayhem throughout the capital and abducts her “beloved”, a Prince visiting Paris. Since Cat Noir gets bewitched by Princess Fragrance, it’s up to Ladybug to face the villain… and Cat Noir! But without Tikki, Marinette can no longer turn into Ladybug! And so begins a race against time as our heroine tries to find Tikki and take her to the healer so that Ladybug can finally save Paris.
Scene: TVi News report. It is raining.
Nadja: (on the news) Welcome. Ladybug and Cat Noir save Paris once again. Jean Duparc was akumatized into a very menacing Wizard of Misfortune who threatened to make the Eiffel Tower disappear in a cloud of smoke.

Scene: Streets of Paris. Ladybug arrives at the subway where she transforms back into Marinette as she goes up
Tikki: (sneezes)
Marinette: Tikki, you don’t look good.
Tikki: I need you to take me to the doctor.
Marinette: But where can I find a doctor on kwamis?
Tikki: I know a healer. I’ll tell you where to go.
Marinette: But what do I tell him? You’re secretive, he’ll get suspicious and ask me questions – (gasps) And I know someone else who will ask an awful lot of questions: my teacher! About why I’m late again! Tikki, can I take you to the healer right after school? (Tikki nods and sneezes) Thank you.
Scene: Mrs. Mendeleev’s classroom. Françoise Dupont College.

Nadja: (news on Rose’s cell phone) Today, Prince Ali, heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Achu, will honor his official visit to Paris by organizing a toy collection for sick children at the Paris Municipal Children’s Hospital.
Rose: (Rose wipes her eyes as she hands Juleka the tissues) He’s just so gorgeous and has a heart of gold. (Sniffs) Oh! You know what? I will write him a letter expressing my complete admiration and utmost respect. (Marinette stumbles into the classroom and then trips and falls in front of the teacher’s desk.)
Marinette: Wow!
Mrs. Mendeleev: Oh, Marinette. What excuse do you have for us this time? Have you accidentally locked yourself in the bathroom again?
Marinette: Uh, no! Of course not. I had to, uh, take my dog… to the vet! Because… he ate the whole woolen sweater. Uh, it must have smelled like… (Rose sprays perfume on her letter.)
Mrs. Mendeleev: Thank you, Rose. But I don’t think our class needs an extra refresher. (Walks towards Rose)
Chloé: I thought someone wrapped a tuna sandwich, but it turned out to be Rose perfume. (Laughter)
Alya: (to Marinette) Did she eat the sweater?
Mrs. Mendeleev: (confiscates Rose’s perfume) Besides, smartphone use is strictly prohibited during school hours. (confiscates Rose’s cell phone and hands free) Take the rest of your things and go to the principal’s office.
Rose: Oh… (Rose grabs her things and starts to leave)
Mrs. Mendeleev: (at the front of the class) Watch what happens when you play with flammable substances in the chemistry lab. (He sprays some perfume into an open-bottomed glass container and sets it upright, trapping the air inside. Then he presses a button and a small flame shoots out of the tube, creating a small explosion.)
Students: (gasp)
Mrs. Mendeleev: Just to make sure you all remember, I’ll pick you up tomorrow at lab security. Again!
Scene: Outside the Collège Françoise Dupont. Nino waits as Adrien runs to the school, Marinette and Alya following behind.
Nino: Dude.
Alya: You two are truly made for each other. Neither of you can make it to school on time. Since he missed chemistry class, it would be nice if some lady could lend him her notes so he could get up to speed.
Marinette: (laughs) You’re right. Oh, you want me to give him my notes! (looks at the purse where Tikki is) No, I can’t. i-i-
Alya: Girl, your fake excuses don’t work on me.
Tikki: (sneezes)
Alya: What?
Marinette: Hey! I think I’m sick.
Alya: So don’t breathe on him. (points to Adrien. Marinette starts walking towards him)
Tikki: (sneezes) I don’t feel very well.
Marinette: Don’t worry Tikki, it’ll take a while – (Marinette trips over someone’s bag and Tikki accidentally flies out of the bag. Marinette lands on top of Adrien.)
Marinette and Tikki: Aaaah!
Adrien: Wow! Are you OK? Nothing broken?
Marinette: Uh, yeah, uh, I’m fine. (Adrien and Nino leave. Then Marinette realizes that Tikki is no longer in her purse.) Hah! AAH!
Tikki: (weakly) Marinette… (Chloé and Sabrina come in and Tikki pretends to be a stuffed doll)
Chloé: Sabrina, what is Prince Ali doing today again?
Sabrina: Children’s Hospital Toy Drive.
Chloé: (sees Tikki and picks her up) Um, what’s that stuffed animal? Who left it here? (gasps) The prince has never seen anyone like this before, and when he looks at me, Prince Ali will forget all those sick children. (Laughter)
Rose: Did I hear you say Prince Ali?
Chloe: Not to you.
Sabrina: Prince Ali is staying at Chloe’s father’s hotel.
Chloé: The only hotel fit for a prince and I’ll be the first to meet him. Is he unlucky?
Rose: Oh, please, could you give him a special letter for me?
Chloe: No problem.
Rose: Oh, that’s so incredibly nice of you to do that for me.
Chloé: (laughs) You thought I was serious? Do you think I want to get anywhere near this fishy fun? (laughs and tears the letter)
Rose: (gasps and then cries. Chloé gets into the limo and leaves Rose crying on the ground.)
Marinette: Tikki? (Marinette hears Chloé laughing and sees her holding Tikki as her limo drives away.) Chloé, wait!
Chloe: What?
Marinette: It’s my… my…
Chloe: Not anymore. Keepers of finders. (Laughter)
Marinette: (to herself) Tikki…
Scene: the banks of the Seine. Rose is sad and starts writing another letter.
Rose: (sobs as she begins to write another letter)
Scene: Hawk Moth Lair.
Hawk Moth: (his window opens) Ooh, now there’s a heartbroken princess if I ever saw one. Every rose has its thorns. (laughs) (turns the butterfly into an akuma) Fly my little akuma away and harm her.
Scene: Bench. Rose is really upset and starts crying.
(Akuma flies to where Rose is and infects her perfume bottle)
Hawk Moth: Princess of scent, I am Hawk Moth. Your perfume is now your secret weapon. No one can resist it, especially Prince Ali. All I want in return is Ladybug and Cat Noir’s Miraculous.
Rose: ♫ I’m coming my prince! ♫
Scene: Outside Le Grand Paris. Marinette approaches the doorman.
Marinette: Hello! I’m in Chloé Bourgeois’s class and I really need to see her.
Doorman: Are you her friend?
Marinette: Chloe’s friend? Ha, you must be kidding me! (gasp) I mean – we’re in the same class, that’s all.
Doorman: If you’re not a friend, I can’t.
Marinette: Yes! I’m Chloé’s f-f-friend. We are BFFs!
Doorman: Ah! Chloe has no friends!
Marinette: Does that mean you won’t let me in?
Doorman: No! (Marinette leaves defeated, but then sees a pile of trash with a biker helmet, a pink cape, and a pizza box.)
Marinette: (disguised) Hey! I have pizza for Chloé Bourgeois.
Doorman: Hmm, it’s usually sushi. (steps aside) Top floor, Imperial Suite.
Marinette: (laughing) Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! (Marinette, still dressed, takes the elevator and arrives at Chloe’s floor. Chloe waits for the next elevator.)
