Scene: Césaire’s apartment. Alya, Nino, Marinette and the Césaire family are all sitting at the table as Marlena Césaire serves food.
Marinette: Mmm. Everything smells beautiful, Mrs. Césaire!
Marlena: Marinette, call me Marlena. (places the bowl in front of Marinette) You’ll let me know how you like my Colombo, okay?
(Marinette smiles. Marlena leaves. Marinette looks down to see Trixx floating above the table with a small plate, fork and knife placed in front of him.)
Marinette: Hide, Trixx! (to Alya) Alya, no one can know about Trixx! He is secret!
Alya: (to Marinette) Really? Why is he so secret, Ladybug?
(Marinette turns around the table to see everyone staring at her and smiling.)
Marinette: (stuttering) U-uh, Ladybug? C-Why do you call me Ladybug? I’m not Ladybug. I’m Marinette! Just a normal girl with a normal life.
Nino: (laughs) Marinette, everyone knows you’re Ladybug!
Chloé: To think you were lecturing us about blah, blah, blah, “you have to keep your identity a secret,” blah, blah, blah, “or I can’t give you your Miraculous.” I would make a much better Ladybug. Talk about a ridiculous Guardian, absolutely ridiculous!
Marinette: (asks) Alya, what is she doing here at your house?
(Shadow Moth knocks on the window)
Alya: Ahh, thanks for showing up, Shadow Moth!
(Marinette is shocked and Alya opens the window)
Shadow Moth: I’m grateful to you for revealing Ladybug’s identity, Alya. Thanks to you, the Miracle Box is finally mine.
Marinette: Alya?! It is impossible! Tikki, Spots On! (failed to transform) Tikki?
Tikki: (answers angrily) You should never have trusted Alya, Marinette.
(Cat Blanc appears and holds Marinette)
Cat Blanc: Look on the bright side, lady. Now that we’re done with the secrets, we can tie the knot.
Marinette: (scared) This… is… a nightmare…!
Shadow Moth: If you want this to stop, all you have to do is give me your Miraculous.
(Everyone approaches Marinette)
Trixx: This is what you get for leaving me with Alya.
(Marinette screams.)
Scene: Marinette’s room. She wakes up and sits up in shock. Tikki, who was sleeping on her chest, was catapulted to the end of Marinette’s bed.
Marinette: AHHHHHH! Tikki, I should never have left Fox Miraculous with Alya!
(Tikki wakes up and pounces on the box)
Tikki: (yawns) What are you talking about, Marinette?
Marinette: (opens sewing cabinet) I had a nightmare. It was awful! Alya told everyone that everything and Shadow Moth were holding the Wonder Box.
(Miracle Box appears safe and sound and Marinette is relieved)
Marinette: Wow.
Tikki: It was just a bad dream, that wouldn’t really happen. Alya is a loyal friend.
Wayzz: Alya is. But her kwami, Trixx, can’t help but make mischief whenever she’s face to face with anyone.
Xuppu: The Loch Ness Monster illusion was pretty fun, wasn’t it?
Tikki: Shhh.
Marinette: (in fear) That was a prophetic nightmare, I can’t leave Miraculous with Alya!
(runs down the stairs)
Tikki: Marinette, wait!
Scene: Bakery
(Marinette hurriedly opens the door to see Alya)
Sabine: Marinette, it’s almost lunch and you’re still…
Marinette: In my pajamas, (facepalms) I know, I just need to stop by Alya’s and there’s one thing I need back. (in a hurry, so quickly explains to parents)
(Runs out the door.)
Scene: Alya is at home
(Marinette opens the door)
Alya: Where did that thing go? Come on, Nora.
Nora: If I find him, you better get ready for a good old couloir!
Ella: First person to find a furry squishy gets to keep it.
Etta: Yes!
Otis: I can’t believe it, it’s like that little monster can walk through walls or something.
Marinette: Does everyone know? Did you tell them?!
Alya: Well, I had to because I lost him. Imagine what would happen if someone could cross it, or worse, run away. (Marinette facepalms)
Marinette: Did you lose him?
Alya: Yeah, so? Everyone loses something from time to time. Help me look instead of lecturing me.
Marlena: Stay for lunch, Marinette. Let me know how you like my Colombo, okay?
Marinette: (notices a tarantula crawling out of the pot in fear and screams) T-T-T-Tarantula! (points to the spider and holds Alya’s arm).
Marlena: (notices and starts laughing) Everyone can stop looking. Marinette found Hannibal!
Nora and Alya: Phew! (he breathed a sigh of relief that Hannibal had been found).
Otis: Looks like his legs are working again. It’s back to the zoo tomorrow mate.
Nino: (voice) Is it okay to go out now?
(The girls turn to see that Nino was there.)
Nora: (starts laughing) Ha! You scales, Cappy was afraid of that biting spider of hers, and so were you, bagel!
Nino: (leaves the room) No, I wasn’t scared, I just went to the bathroom to make sure Hannibal didn’t fall into the toilet. (notices Marinette in her pajamas and asks her) But why are you in your pajamas?
(Marinette looks down and sees he’s in his pajamas)
Alya: Cute look, Marinette. Are you here for something… specific?
Marinette: (laughs nervously) Oh! No, it’s alright! Nothing specific, especially now I saw you found the tarantula so I’m relieved it wasn’t something else you lost.
Alya: Oh, I know what you’re talking about, FYI, if someone entrusts me with a “thing”, I don’t lose it.
(Aly’s parents look confused by what they are saying.)
Nora: (laughs) Look who’s talking! You’re the one who just lost Hannibal.
Marinette: Huh. Can we chat for a moment? (pulls Alya into her bedroom)
Alya: Sorry, Nina. This is between me and Marinette. (closes the door)
(Nino looks a little sad that Alya didn’t let him in her room.)
Nino: (looks sad and then screams when he notices the tarantula) Oh! Haha, haha (starts to laugh a little).
