Scene: Early morning. Rooftops of Paris. Ladybug heads to Marinette’s Bedroom and transforms back into Marinette.
Marinette: (Yawns) Finally.
Scene: Adrien’s bedroom. Cat Noir transforms back into Adrien.
Adrien: That villain was so tough. (Plagg yawns and falls on the bed with Adrien).
Scene: Marinette’s room. Marinette realizes that today is Heroes Day.
Marinette: Good night, Tikki.
Tikki: (Kisses Marinette on the forehead) Sleep tight, Marinette.
(phone rings)
Unknown Voice: Rise and shine everyone! Today is Heroes Day. A day when you too can be a hero!
Marinette: Heroes Day?! (Runs down the stairs) I completely forgot to plan my good deed for today!
Tikki: And the fact that you stayed up all night saving Paris isn’t good enough?
Marinette: No Tikki. Because it was a secret and a good deed of Ladybug. Heroes’ Day is a day when ordinary citizens do a good deed for the benefit of other people. (Opens purse) Come on, Tikki. (Tikki hides in Marinette’s purse)
Scene: Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie
Marinette: Dad, Mom, today is Heroes Day!
Tom: Like every year, honey. (Grabs a box of macarons) I put one of each flavor in there for each of your classmates.
Sabine: You can’t do much better in the good deeds department. (smiles)
Marinette: (Hugs her parents.) You are my heroes.
Scene: Adrien’s bathroom. Adrien brushes his teeth.
Plagg: (sighs) Heroes’ Day… We’re already heroes. Come on, let’s go back to bed!
Adrien: Plagg! (Covers his nose) Do you really have to eat it so early in the morning?
Plagg: (Eats Ermine) Mhm.
Scene: Agreste Mansion. Adrien grabs his bag in his room and sees his father in front of his mother’s statue in the garden before leaving. He sees Nathalie downstairs.
Nathalie: The Fencing Hall is booked for 6:05pm. and the Chinese classroom at 6:35 p.m. exactly as you wished, and remember to show up at the Agreste Foundation Heroes Gala.
Adrien: I’ll definitely be there. (He walks out the door accompanied by his bodyguard)
Scene: Castle garden.
Gabriel: If Nathalie failed, I could never forgive myself.
Nathalie: You promised your wife. You risked so much to bring her back. (Hands Gabriel her tablet) Lila has been hiding her anger at Ladybug for months, and today, wherever she looks, she sees the object of her hatred, and as predicted, her anger reaches devastating heights. Your plan is perfect sir.
Gabriel: And are you sure you want to do this?
Nathalie: I will always be here for you. We will succeed. (Gabriel looks at the tablet again and approaches Lila)
